Building an email list for beginners may seem very complicated and hard to do. In fact, it is really straight forward with some great email list building websites out there. I use Aweber to handle my subscription lists and they are really good and easy to use. They can handle high levels of subscribers and their delivery rate on emails is almost perfect.

Building an email list is an important part of online marketing and affiliate marketing in particular. Even if you are a beginner it is well worth giving it some thought and reading posts like this and watching my videos on the subject to give yourself an idea of how to use it is a good move.

The reason it is targeted traffic is because the subscriber is interested in what you are talking about and has given you their trust. They know what the subject of your information is and they want more. They know what is coming, in other words.

Have a strategy of targeted traffic

There are sites like Fiverr and fivesquid that have people on there that will get you loads of subscribers to your list or Facebook page. I do not recommend that you go down this road as it is NOT targeted traffic. These are random people that do not have an interest in your product or services. It may look good if you have 10,000 fans on your Facebook fan page or in your list, but in reality these people are not going to open your email and this means they won’t buy from you. So don’t waste your time and money on that rubbish!

To start getting subscribers you will need an account with someone like Aweber and you can get your first month for only $1 which is brilliant. You get a month to properly get used to it and see if it is for you. I really like it personally. This is a superb WordPress theme that enables you to build squeeze pages and sales pages with ease. They look wonderful and give your product or service a professional look. There are loads of great step by step videos in the membership area that will help you every step of the way.

Build trust with email broadcasting

Email list building means that once you have a list of subscribers, you can send out email broadcasts every three or four days to build up trust with your subscriber. I send out FREE information and whiteboard training videos on all aspects of online marketing in my email broadcasts. It is good to give away as much as you can afford because it does build trust and potential customers think that the information for sale is very high quality.

Building an email list for beginners is an important tactic to consider. For some people, building the foundations of your wordpress blog before you drive traffic to it is important. It is not necessary to have your squeeze page set up before you drive traffic to it as you may want to get some content out there first. Either way, please consider building a list at some stage because email marketing is an important strategy to use and there is definitely money in the list.
